Iron Blight Ending: How Many Endings Are There?
One ending, confirmed by the developer
A player opened a thread in the Steam Discussions titled “There aren’t any other endings, right?” and a developer answered plainly: not currently, but they plan to add another one.
That is the clearest possible answer to the question, and it comes from the studio rather than from a data mine or a rumour. If you see a site listing multiple Iron Blight endings with unlock conditions, treat it as unverified until Ronesans Interactive ships the second one and says so.
What unlocks when you finish
Completing the campaign fires End Of The Line. Patch 1.01 states that this achievement, along with Recorded, Blightbreaker, Iron Might and the hidden Red Express, can now be obtained on campaign completion based on active modifiers — wording that exists because those unlocks were not firing correctly during launch week.
If you finished the game between 24 and 26 August 2026 and received nothing, that is the reason. The patch notes still list achievement conditions that do not trigger correctly as an open known issue, so a replay of the ending sequence is worth trying before assuming your save is broken.
The hidden one
Red Express is the only achievement Steam publishes no description for. The Patch 1.01 notes mention it in the same sentence as the campaign-completion unlocks and attach it to a redacted condition, which tells you it is tied to the ending in some way and nothing more.
There is an open forum thread titled simply “red express”, which is a fair indication that players are still working it out. We will document it when there is something verifiable to document — see the achievements page for the current state of all 22.
What comes after the credits
A player thread about future content asked whether the story would continue past the two chapters, noting that the protagonist’s arc felt closed. The developer response pointed to a new game mode and new modifiers rather than a story continuation, while saying other things were planned without guaranteeing them. The roadmap page keeps those two categories apart.
Thanks for the feedback!
