Iron Blight Walkthrough: Chapter Order and What to Expect
What this page is, and is not
This is a map of the campaign’s structure, not a room-by-room script. We do not publish routes or puzzle solutions traced from stream footage we cannot verify, so what follows is built from things that can be checked: the achievement list, the Ronesans Interactive patch notes, and dated player reports in the Steam Discussions.
If you want the exact sequence of a specific room, video walkthroughs went up within a day of launch and are the right tool for that job. What they will not tell you is which of your problems are bugs, which is what this page is for.
The campaign is two chapters
A player asked in the Steam forums whether content was planned past “these 2 chapters”, and a developer replied about future plans without disputing the count. The achievement list matches that shape, with three progress achievements and a completion achievement:
| Milestone | Achievement |
|---|---|
| Prologue complete | I’ll Be Back |
| St. Toma Dormitory complete | Nobody Sleeps Here Anymore |
| Prasnova District complete | Prasnova No More |
| Campaign complete | End Of The Line |
Those are the only structural markers the game publishes. Everything else below is a location that appears in patch notes or player reports, not a confirmed chapter boundary.
Locations that show up along the way
The elevator, the construction exit, the cemetery, the train tracks, the apartment blocks, and a laundry room connecting a factory and a workshop all appear in the official bug thread or the patch notes. The locations page collects what is known about each.
The stretch players get stuck on most visibly is the apartment building. The thread about it is a player low on ammo asking whether more exists; the replies point at Block B, describe roughly eight magnum rounds scattered through the apartments, and note that the large enemies take around three headshots to put down permanently. That is player testimony rather than official documentation, but it is dated and specific.
The punch card puzzle
Iron Blight has ciphers and puzzles — the store page lists solving them as core to the loop, and the launch announcement mentions “challenging ciphers” by name. One of them, the punch card puzzle, had a bug at launch: Patch 1.01 lists a fix for it consistently failing on the first attempt even with the correct code.
The practical takeaway is that if you solved it and it rejected you before 26 August 2026, you were not wrong. Update, then try again. We are not publishing a code for it, because we cannot verify one.
Plan around the item transfer issue
The Patch 1.01 known-issues list states that Chapter 1 items — the TT-33 laser sight, bolt cutters, hammer, lockpick and screwdriver are the ones named — do not transfer under some conditions when players continue. That matters for two achievements in particular: Soviet Steel (find all guns) and Alpha Operator (find all gun mods), both of which assume you can accumulate a full set.
Until that is resolved, treat collection achievements as something to verify inside a single chapter rather than assume across the campaign. The achievements page has the full list.
After the credits
There is one ending at the time of writing. A developer answered the question directly in the forums: not currently, but one more is planned. Details on the endings page.
Thanks for the feedback!
